Scraphic Novels with Karin Adams and Anita Lebeau

For the past two years the grade 3 and 4 classes at EMU have had the chance to work with the amazing Manitoba children's author Karin Adams. This year we get to work with animator Anita Lebeau along with Karin. We will be basing our books on a northern theme and we are starting to collect items for this project that we will be beginning in April. The following is a list items that could be useful for our project: yarn, thread, buttons, bingo chips, puzzle pieces (from incomplete puzzles), game pieces, old stamps, postcards, magazine photos, old calendars, lace, felt, fabric, small envelopes, colourful paper clips, wrapping paper, newspaper, greeting cards, wrapping tissue, newspaper, rubber stamps, artificial plants, rubber bands, stickers, bubble wrap, bottle caps, ribbon, etc. For more information about this project you can visit Karin Adam's website.
